This 30-minute webinar is presented by Darwin Innovation Hub to help you unravel how venture capital firms assess and recommend startups for investment.
And while there is a slightly different set of criteria for each fund, they all follow a similar thesis.
You will learn:
What the most common requirements are of a company to be invested in
What you can do to maximise your chances for investment
How to assess your business before you make your first pitch
What your pitch should include and what you should prepare for
At the end of this session you'll have a solid idea of what is required by businesses to achieve investment from venture capital in Australia.
This workshop is delivered by Director – Innovation & Investment Readiness, Dante St James, as part of Darwin Innovation Hub’s Start NT program.
StartNT is an in-house program designed, tested and run exclusively through the Darwin Innovation Hub. It provides a “life-cycle” commercialisation pathway for companies looking to scale and become “investment ready” in the Northern Territory.
